Vixen Review!!!!!

Ok so I had another date night.... ;D and we went to see the new Tyler Perry movie. This was way more my style than the slasher flick. The movie is basically about an alcoholic lounge singer who inherits her drug addicts sister's children after her mother passes away. The story was very well told and of course Taraji P. Henson did a great job playing her part to death, there was even a few parts that I wanted to cry on. My date wasn't particularly fond of the movie because he said it had too many musical selections in it, but then again he is an action/slasher movie type so I knew he wouldn't be to fond of it. My advice is Ladies go and see this with some friends and give the men in your life a pass on this one, and fellas if you decide to go be prepared for some tears and music =)

Vixen Review!!!!!! Halloween 2

So along with about half of the world I went to see the new Halloween flick (Date Night Date Night =-D) And here is my review: The movie starts off immediately smacking you in the face with action no slow drags at all, it pretty much sticks to the script of the popular originals from the late 70's thru to the 80's. My personal feelings toward the movie (I'm more romantic comedy than slasher film) is verrrrrrry graphic! I saw all of the originals and their "Gore Factor" doesn't compare to this Rob Zombie remake. When I say graphic I mean you can vividly hear and dang near feel the violent ways in which Michael attacks his victims, but all in all if slasher films are your thing I say this movie is perfecto for ya!
